Class Policies

What is the class cancellation policy?

VIAS3D reserves the right to cancel a course with or without reason. In such cases, any registration fees and payments for any other costs already paid to VIAS3D will be refunded in full, or VIAS3D can provide a credit for any future class within one year from the first day of the originally scheduled Training.

If a paid registrant cancels a course reservation two weeks or more before the course start date, 50% of the fee will be refunded, or a full credit will be issued that can be used for a future course within one year from the original start date of the course.

No refund will be given for cancellations made less than two weeks before the course start date.

How will the classes be conducted?

Unless otherwise specified, all classes will be held in remote settings.

Remote: Classes will be conducted using Microsoft Teams (Webcam’s will not be required), once a purchased is confirmed the appropriate link will be shared with the email that matches the users profile. It may take 2-3 business days to confirm and roster a student, if you have questions or have not received a meeting invitation contact VIAS3Dtraining@viascorp.com.

What will I need to particpant in a class?

For remote classes, it is recommended:

  • The abilitiy to access a Microsoft Teams meeting (Browser or App).
  • A reliable Internet Connection. Connecting to the course is the Student’s Responsibility.
  • A Virtual Machine (VM) and the appropriate licenses will be provided for all classes. If you wish to use your own hardware, refer to the DS Certified Workstations and ensure the relevant products and licenses are properly installed prior to the class start.

How do I add products to the My Cart?

Products labelled as Open Enrollment can be added to your cart and purchased.

Open Enrollment: An Available Class must be selected first prior to clicking Add to cart.

How do I purchase a class for multiple students?

While viewing a product the quantity will correspond to the number of seats in a class. Above the Add to cart button, the quantity of a product can be adjusted by clicking the ( – ) and ( + ) icons.

How do I use a coupon?

If you have a valid coupon it may be used while viewing the cart or at checkout.

Cart:

  1. Click Have a coupon? above the Proceed to Checkout button.
  2. Enter the code in the Coupon Code field.
  3. Click Apply.

Checkout:

  1. Click Add coupons in the Order Summary section on the right.
  2. Enter the code in the Coupon Code field.
  3. Click Apply.
What payment options are available?

Powered by Stripe payments we accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover credit cards.

An Invoice Me option is also available, after checkout your order will be put on hold and instructions will be provided in order to provide payment.

How do I get a refund?

Learning Catalog

How do I navigate the shop page?

Normally, All Products will be listed. In some cases a link will navigate to a sub-category of the shop, such as Open Enrollment.

The top of the Learning Catalog page will have a breadcrumb available to navigate to different sub-categories. Note: Currently only Learning Products are populated in the shop.

How do I filter the shop page?

On the shop page, a filtering panel is available on the left:

  • Search: Enter text to run a search of content based on product names or descriptions.
  • Categories:  Learning type for the product, such as Open Enrollment, Available on Request, or Self-Paced.
  • Brands: The Dassault Systèmes software brand of content.
  • Price: The listed price of the content.
  • Portfolio: A specific software or app within a Dassault Systèmes software brand.
  • Duration: The listed duration of content.

My Profile

How do I view my orders?

View orders by clicking the Profile icon in the top right of the site header, and selecting Orders. The Orders tab is also available when viewing your Dashboard.

Each order and the current status will be listed, click View on the right of the order to review details.

How do I change my password?

To update your password navigate to Edit Password on your Dashboard.

Under Change Password, enter your current password, new password, and confirm new password, then click Save Changes.

Can I save my Billing Address?

Yes, to save a billing address navigate to Edit Address on your Dashboard.

General Website

My billing details are overlaying each other

If you are experiencing interface errors with the website, it is recommended to clear your browser cache or try a different browser. Chrome is the recommended browser for navigating the Learning Academy website.

How should I access the website?

Google Chrome is the recommended browser.

Currently, it is not recommended to use mobile devices to access the Learning Academy.
