CST Studio Suite – Microwave and Antenna (1 day)

This 1-day course familiarizes students with the CST high-frequency solvers used to simulate different types of antennas. Students learn to build and simulate antennas, extract primary results (S-parameters, near-field and far-field) and advanced postprocessed results (potential bandwidth, SAR in the human body), handle imported CAD models, design simple matching networks, and use the Hybrid Solver for complex RF systems. Prerequisite: Introduction to CST Studio Suite.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Construct and simulate antennas using different solvers.
Visualize and extract primary results (S-Parameters, Nearfield distribution, Farfield) as well as more advanced results using postprocessing (i.e. Potential Bandwidth, SAR).
Handle imported CAD models.
Design simple matching network.
Use the Hybrid Solver to simulate more complex RF Systems.
