Writing User Subroutines with Abaqus (2 day)

This 2-day course explains when and how to use Abaqus user subroutines: DLOAD, VDLOAD and UTRACLOAD for user-defined loading, FILM for film conditions, USDFLD and VUSDFLD for field variable dependence, UVARM for user output variables, UHYPER for hyperelastic materials, UMAT and VUMAT for custom constitutive models, and UEL and VUEL for user-defined elements. Recommended for engineers with Abaqus experience; requires a working knowledge of the finite element method and programming in Fortran or C.
